Aplex is an aluminium cored PEX pipe suitable for all plumbing installations. It is available in 16, 20, 26, 32, 40, 50 and 63mm diameter. The pipe, manifolds and fittings are produced in Italy by Ivar.

Manifold distribution systems can be designed for either hot/cold systems or conventional radiator heating systems. All parts can be supplied for self installation, or installation can be arranged.

All specialist tools including pipe straightener, pipe bender, cutters, callibration and pressfit gun can be supplied for use with self assembly.

Alpex takes on a ridid form, so once you bend it into shape, it stays there. All connections are made by compressing fittings directly onto the pipe with a special crimping gun.

Manifolds can be used to distribute water to radiator systems and domestic hot and cold water distribution.

Its main advantages are:

• Crimp connections are faster and safer than using solder joints.
• Long lengths available enabling fewer joints.
• Single lengths can be laid directly a concrete floor.
• Manifold distribution allows easy control and isolation of individual outlets.
